BFI 4 Cylinder Complete Replacement Engine Mount – Stage 1

After years of design and testing we are finally proud to announce the release of our complete replacement engine side mount for Mk4 and Mk5 4 cylinder vehicles. This mount will completely replace your old, tired, hydraulic engine-side motor mount. The weakest of the 3 engine mounts, the passenger side is fluid filled by Volkswagen/Audi to aid in creating a softer, cushier ride. This softness is a detriment to performance and overall longevity as the fluid within the mount can often cause premature failure. We eliminate this possibility by replacing the mount completely with our proprietary bushing and bracket design. Maximizing bushing area to minimize vibration where possible gives our mount the advantage of having the best ride characteristics possible from a urethane bushing mount. Stage 1 with its 65a durometer bushings are geared towards the spirited enthusiast who wants better control over motor movement without the sacrifice of excessive vibrations. Its our recommendation for all 4cyl street cars. Stage 2 with its 85a durometer bushings are more for the hardcore enthusiast who is more concerned with performance than cabin vibration great for spirited runs and track cars. Each complete replacement mount comes with two bushings, one 304 stainless base plate, one 6061 aluminum center bracket, and all washers and hardware necessary to mount to your vehicle. Fits all Mk4 4 cylinder vehicles (1.8T and 2.0) as well as all Mk5 4 cylinder (2.0T) vehicles, along with TT Mk1, Audi A3 2.0T and Passat 2.0T.
